This Week's Thought
One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.

 Our Mission

The mission of Family Wellness Center is to provide guidance, supervision and treatment, helping young people break free from drugs and the drug culture, rebuild strong family ties, and move forward toward a meaningful, dignified and productive life.

 Treatment and Counseling Services

At Family Wellness Center we provide a number of services to young people and parents.  Our programs and services are designed to present recovery as an attractive and exciting lifestyle for teenagers.  Our parent education and support services give parents the tools they need to lovingly support their teens while re-establishing their authority within the home.

  • Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOTP) is an excellent primary care alternative for young people who do not necessarily need inpatient or residential care.  The program provides a high degree of structure and guidance while, minimizing the  disruption to school, family and extracurricular activities.  For those returning from inpatient or residential treatment, IOTP provides much needed support during their transition home.
  • The Recovery Center is a support group and afternoon recreation/guidance center.
    Through
The Recovery Center we are able to provide teens with ongoing continuing care and oversight during the first two years of their recovery.  We also communicate with the parents as needed in order to help them identify and resolve minor setbacks before they become major problems.
  • We offer ongoing individual and family counseling through our Outpatient Counseling Center.  Our experienced staff is able to provide guidance and consultation to help teens and their families keep their recovery on track, deal with issues that block progress, and resolve family problems.
