Natalie has a true appreciation for the challenge that accompanies the constant and ever-changing complexity of adolescent behavior. Following her time working in an adolescent residential treatment setting, Natalie gained a deep understanding of the importance of both understanding the developing brain and it's direct impact on behavior as well as the importance of building rapport to help adolescents work towards recovery.
Natalie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor as well as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She completed her undergraduate work at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame and continued on to earn her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Specialization in the treatment of addiction disorders.
At Family Recovery Centers, Natalie oversees, develops, and supports all clinical operations. In addition to overseeing clinical operations, she provides weekly individual and group supervision at each location. Natalie interacts closely with each team to train, observe, and support through the constant evolution and implementation of best-practice standards.
Natalie’s therapeutic approach is informed by both research and experience. She has worked in a variety of settings including residential treatment, community agencies, and an adult Intensive Outpatient program designed to treat co-occurring disorders. She has worked with various populations, but has focused her work primarily around the adolescent and parent system.
